Pomfolio is a cross-platform productivity app that transforms the Pomodoro technique into a stock market experience. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use Pomfolio on iOS, Android, or Web.

2. What Data We Collect

Account Information

• Email address (for authentication)
• Username (chosen by you)
• Profile avatar configuration

Session Data

• Focus session timestamps (start time, end time)
• Session duration and configuration
• Trade records (BUY/SELL actions within sessions)
• Session earnings (fictional portfolio currency)
• Compliance/discipline metrics
• Task tags (optional — what you label your work as)

Portfolio & Marketplace Data

• Portfolio value and daily snapshots
• Marketplace purchases and inventory
• Avatar customization choices

Group Data

• Groups you create or join
• Leaderboard rankings (visible to group members)

Technical Data

• Device type and operating system
• App version
• Crash reports and error logs
• General usage analytics (screen views, feature usage)

3. What We Do NOT Collect

• We do not access your contacts, photos, camera, or microphone
• We do not track your location
• We do not read or monitor your screen content
• We do not collect real financial information
• We do not use third-party advertising trackers
• We do not sell or share your data with advertisers

4. How We Use Your Data

• Run the app: Authenticate you, save your sessions, track your portfolio, and sync across devices
• Social features: Display your username, avatar, and weekly rankings to your group members
• Analytics & insights: Generate your personal productivity analytics (heatmaps, discipline scores, trends)
• Improve the product: Aggregate, anonymized usage data helps us understand which features are most valuable
• Communicate with you: Send push notifications for session signals (BUY/SELL), and occasional product updates (you can opt out anytime)

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Supabase, a platform built on PostgreSQL with enterprise-grade encryption. All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. We use Row Level Security (RLS) to ensure only you can access your own data.

Authentication tokens are stored securely using the platform's secure storage: SecureStore on iOS/Android and encrypted localStorage on web.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in these limited cases:

• Group members: Your username, avatar, weekly portfolio growth, and leaderboard rank are visible to members of groups you join
• Service providers: We use Supabase for backend infrastructure. They process data on our behalf under strict data protection agreements
• Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect against fraud

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data — all your session history, portfolio, and profile are visible in the app
• Export your data — contact us at support@pomfolio.app and we'll provide a full export
• Delete your account — you can request account deletion at any time by contacting support@pomfolio.app. We will delete all your data within 30 days
• Opt out of notifications — toggle notifications off in Settings

8. Children's Privacy

Pomfolio is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us at privacy@pomfolio.app and we will delete it promptly.

9. Cookies & Local Storage

On web, we use localStorage to cache your session state, settings, and authentication tokens locally for a smooth offline experience. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. We do not serve ads.

10. In-App Purchases

Pomfolio may offer optional in-app purchases (Gold Bars). All payment processing is handled by Apple (App Store), Google (Play Store), or Stripe (web). We do not store your credit card details. We only receive a transaction confirmation and the amount of Gold Bars to credit.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you through the app or by email. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page will always reflect the latest revision.
