The core experience is completely free — timer, chart, marketplace, groups, and leaderboards. No credit card needed to get started. Pomfolio Pro unlocks advanced analytics, unlimited teams, Productive Hours bonuses, and removes ads.

No — and that's by design. The dollar amounts are fictional portfolio currency, a fun way to visualize your productivity. You spend your earnings in the marketplace to customize your trader avatar with outfits, hairstyles, and rare collectibles. Think of it as XP that you can actually spend on something cool. No real money is earned or required.

Pomfolio works on iOS, Android, and Web. Your account syncs across all platforms, so you can start a session on your phone and check your portfolio on desktop.

You choose — anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours. Each session is split into 25-minute focus rounds with 5-minute breaks in between, following the Pomodoro technique.

Create a group and share a 6-digit invite code. Everyone's weekly portfolio growth is ranked on the leaderboard. It resets every Sunday, so there's always a fresh chance to win. You can have study groups, startup teams, or friend circles — any group that wants friendly accountability.

Your data is stored securely on Supabase (built on PostgreSQL with enterprise-grade encryption). We use Row Level Security so only you can access your data. We don't sell your information, and we never will. Your focus sessions, portfolio, and avatar are yours.

Absolutely. Pomfolio works for any kind of focused work — studying for exams, writing code, designing, reading, or deep work at the office. Tag your sessions to track which projects get the most focus hours. Many users run it alongside their task manager.

Your session keeps running in the background. On mobile, you'll see a lock screen notification with your progress. On web, the tab title updates with your remaining time and earnings. When you come back, the chart catches up to where you should be. No progress lost.
